Week 4 – Discussion 1
Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 3 (Thursday) and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your initial post and the depth of your responses. Reference the Discussion Forum Grading Rubric for guidance on how your discussion will be evaluated.
Service Delivery System
What is the service delivery system and why is it important in providing excellent customer service? Select two facilities within your home state and describe the three service delivery processes (planning, implementation, and measurement). Each facility’s website should reflect measurement information as a community quality report, outcomes performance data, or a similar term. For each facility, summarize the differences between the measurement information available on your two selected facilities.
Guided Response: Your initial post should be a minimum of 300 words. Post a minimum of two follow-up responses to your peers by Day 7. Each peer response should be a minimum of five full sentences. Compare and contrast your initial post with your peer’s post. Explain a minimum of three differences or similarities. Provide three examples of how this topic is relevant to health informatics. Your three required posts must be on three different days of the week.
