I am showing it to you because as college students you need to understand and appreciate the reality of what war does to civilian populations. Some of my students have experienced war and some have been spared the pain caused by war. In each case, make sure that you feel mentally ready before you begin the video. I need help writing my essay – research paper answer the following questions in the discussion. 1. Which civilian groups suffered in Europe during the war, what happened to them, and why were they targeted? 2. The United States and its allies bombed civilian targets in Germany and Japan including the use of two Atomic Bombs. Describe what happened, and offer your own opinion on whether or not the bombing was justifiable in an effort to shorten and win the war.
